Today we are happy to announce the release of two new Caldera Forms add-ons. Beyond being cool tools, they help show the direction we plan to follow with Caldera Forms add-ons. Our goal it to go beyond form processors that provide integration with third-party services. Don’t worry we have plenty more of those coming. But, we are also going to be using Caldera Forms to deliver complete solutions to common problems, with easy customization.
The new Caldera Forms Mark Viewed plugin is one of these types of “easily extendable, complete solution” plugins. Once installed, you simply select what post types to track and drop its widget into a sidebar, and you’re done.
But, if you want to customize the solution it provides, you can do that from the Caldera Forms editor. For example, want to add star ratings, or a feedback form? That should take you a few minutes to do.
Our mission at CalderaWP is user experience, front-end and back-end. This new plugin is a win on both fronts. It is easy to install, and customize for admins, and for end-users it provides a great AJAX-powered interface.
Our other new plugin, Caldera Forms Entry Limiter is a simple, yet powerful tool for limiting entries to a form field. Using a simple interface, integrated into the Caldera Forms field editor, you can set how many duplicates you will allow in a field, and set the error message to display when the number of duplicates is exceeded.
It’s a simple, yet powerful plugin, that is easy to setup and provides good interactivity to help get your site’s users past the duplicate entries error, and give you the information you need quickly.
