Current Opportunities

 

The Partnerships Manager at Caldera Forms is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among our business partners, third-party developers and Caldera Forms affiliates, while also developing new strategies to increase revenue. You will work alongside the rest of our team in a remote, part-time (15 weekly hours) role. You may work from anywhere and in any time zone for this role, but proficiency in English is a must and some (2-3 hours per week) availability in the Eastern time zone will be helpful for managing meetings.

The Partnerships Manager will have a variety of responsibilities which, in some positions, may change on a regular basis. These include: developing and maintaining business relationships and designing policies which allow partnerships to thrive; identifying opportunities for new partnerships; strengthening existing relationships and collaborations; attending conferences and WordCamps; building professional networks; negotiating contracts with strategic partners; and attending meetings to serve as a representative of Caldera Forms.

A bachelor’s degree in business, administration/management, communications, or a related field is advantageous, but not required, for this position. We care more that you are a strategic thinker with a positive outlook who is great at following up and following through.

The Partnerships Manager position is freelance contract gig at a rate of $30 – $60 USD, primarily dependent on WordPress experience.

With over 100,000 active installations of Caldera Forms, we get a lot of questions about how the product can be used from potential customers every day, and questions about how to use the product to its maximum potential from both free users and paying customers alike. We’re looking for someone who loves to be helpful, make people feel taken care of and appreciated, and can help us handle these questions on three sources: our email support inboxes, and the support forums on the WordPress website, and social media.

We have a procedure in place that we all follow for answering these queries, so we will teach you to use that process to be successful. We will teach you everything you need to know – all you need is great communication skills, a sense of how to be pleasant through email, and an eagerness to learn. 

The ideal candidate has great written English, is comfortable working across multiple remote work tools like Slack, HelpScout, and Google Drive, and has a great sense of what excellent customer service means. It will highly help you to be familiar with WordPress and Caldera Forms to succeed. 

There are no specific hours for this role, but we expect that you will log on at least once every 24 hours Monday through Friday to clear out the messages. This is about 2-4 hours of work each day.

We are seeking a Content Associate at Caldera Forms. This role is remote and for 15hrs/week; you determine your own schedule at the beginning of each week. You will be working closely with the business and community managers to brainstorm, create, and schedule high-quality content, including blog and social media posts, as well as quarterly newsletters and podcast episodes. 

This is a right fit for: an emerging professional with an interest in how startups use digital advertising to get customers in today’s competitive business landscape. We are a company that has bootstrapped to 100,000 users through smart use of search engine optimization, social media, and influencer outreach. If you are interested in participating in the growth of this product with a dynamic and flexible role, this may be the right fit for you. 

Requirements: 
– Associate’s degree or higher 
– Excellent writing skills 
– Creative, curious, and highly motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions on your own 
– Thorough understanding of various social media platforms and how users engage with them, specifically Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube 

Will make you stand out, but definitely not required: 
– General WordPress knowledge 
– Holds a degree in a related trade, such as communications, journalism, marketing, etc.
– Familiarity with marketing concepts such as SEO, lead generation, social media analytics, etc.
