What Am I Paying For Exactly?
You are paying for access to the download of our plugin, as well as updates and support for one year. You are also supporting us, so we can continue developing and supporting our plugins.
What If I Have Multiple Environments For The Same Site?
If you have a single site license, and multiple environments (local development, staging, production, etc.) for the same site you have nothing to worry about. You’re working in a smart way, and we do not wish to punish you for that in terms of support. You can only activate a single site license on one site, which is fine, as that just means you can only use the updater on one site — which should be the site that you do your testing on. You can then push the changes to your live site.
In terms of support, we consider one site to include all of the environments corresponding to one live site.
How Do I Get Updates For The Plugin?
In-dashboard updates are delivered to all users with a valid license key. You can also download the files from your account page.
Can I Upgrade To More Sites?
Absolutely. If you purchase a one site, or up to five site license, you can upgrade to a larger plan or a bundle that includes your existing purchase. You can find the upgrade button in your Caldera Forms account. For step-by-step instructions, follow the guide at this link.
Do I Need to Renew My License?
The license key is valid for one year from the purchase date. An active license key is needed for access to automatic updates and support. Your license can be renewed each year at 50% of the current price.
What If I Want To Use The Plugin On More Than Fifteen Sites?
It is not sustainable for us to offer any sort of unlimited plans. If you need support and updates for more than 15 sites, you will need to purchase an additional license. If you need lots of sites, like more than 50, please contact us and we will work out a special price.
Will The Plugin Continue To Work After The License Is Expired?
Yes, it will. You will not receive support or updates with an expired license, but it will still work.
Are All Of Your Plugins GPL-Licensed?
Yep.
Do CalderaWP Plugins work on WordPress.com?
No. Our plugins only work on self-hosted WordPress installs. We recommend hosting with Siteground or Kinsta.
