This is a big update for the Caldera Forms MailChimp integration. With this new version, we are now version 3 of the MailChimp API. This change ensures the add-on will continue to work in the future. It also will allow for us to introduce many new features that we have planned.
The first new feature taking advantage of the updated API is segmentation. You can now choose which MailChimp segment to add the subscriber from your WordPress site. Please read the documentation for more information on using segmentation with Caldera Forms MailChimp.
In addition, we have removed the checkboxes at the bottom of the processor. They were confusing to many users. Instead we will know respect list defaults for double optin, update existing, and send welcome.
This release also provides better support for new field types in Caldera Forms 1.5.
