Today we are happy to announce that we have released three new and completely free Caldera Forms add-ons. The list of add-ons, which is easily filterable, thanks to Caldera Easy Pods, is growing and we’re not nearly done.
Be sure to check out what we have to offer. If you’re new to Caldera Forms, be sure to check out this 5 star review of Caldera Forms from Pippin Williamson of Easy Digital Downloads, AffiliateWP and Restrict Content Pro. The video serves as an excellent introduction to Caldera Forms and what makes it unique.
Organize Your Plugins With Plugin Groups
Before we show you the new Caldera Forms add-ons, we have to show off another cool free plugin our lead developer David Cramer recently. If you have a lot of plugins on your WordPress site it makes it very hard to manage them via the WordPress plugin admin. We’ve got a lot of Caldera Forms add-ons running on our sites, plus Pods add-ons and Easy Digital Downloads add-ons…
It can be tricky to mange all of those plugins. Plugin Groups changes that.
This new plugin lets you organize your plugins into groups, which you can filter the plugin admin screen by. It’s a little thing that can save you a lot of time. Check out these screenshots, or download the plugin on WordPress.org.
The New Caldera Forms Add-ons
Verify Email
Verify email is a new form processor for Caldera Forms that sends a validation link to an email address entered into a form in order to verify the address is valid. The form submission is only marked completed when the verification link is checked.
This helpful, free add-on can be used for both anti-spam and also to ensure that email address you gather on your site are accurate.
Slack
We love Slack here at CalderaWP. For the last few weeks we’ve been getting instant updates of new support requests in our Slack channel when a new support request is received. It’s all thanks to the Caldera Forms Slack integration!
This helpful plugin is prefect for alerting your support team of a new support request or your sales team of a new lead. It’s another little way that you can do more with WordPress and Caldera Forms.
Run Action
The last — for now — add-on is the simplest and potentially the most powerful. It’s a tool for WordPress developers that want to use Caldera Form’s drag and drop editor to create responsive forms but handle the form submissions themselves.
With Caldera Forms Run Action, you can specify and action to fire on form submission. It will pass the data submitted to the form, and you can do whatever you want with it.
