This is a bug fix release for Caldera Forms custom fields, a free add-on that lets you use Caldera Forms for front-end post editing and creation as well as adding metaboxes to the WordPress post editor.
This release improves the way featured images are handled for front-end post editing and created in two important ways. You can now map both a file field and an advanced file field to the featured image. In addition, a bug that caused multiple versions of the featured image to be uploaded has been fixed. This fix requires Caldera Forms 1.5.0.9, which is currently in beta, and will be released soon.
The custom metabox processor has also been updated for better compatibility with Caldera Forms 1.5 or later.
