Caldera Forms 1.4.8 is now available through the WordPress updater. This is a minor bug fix update as we prepare for the release of Caldera Forms 1.5. It is a recommended update for all users.
Bugs Fixed
The most important bug fix in this update affected only those with super out of date version of PHP. If you were experiencing single letters for field entry when using summary magic tag in Caldera Forms email, this bug is fixed, but is a sign you need to talk to your host about upgrading to a modern version of PHP. WordPress recommends PHP 7.0 or later.
We have also removed the extra from radio and checkbox form fields. In addition we fixed an error that occured when using Caldera Forms SendGrid mode and the SendGrid plugin. You probably should not do that, as SendGrid’s plugin overrides WordPress’ email, but we fixed the bug.
New Features
There are no new features, but Caldera Forms 1.5 has a ton of new features. Seriously, so excited about this new release. Look for and test beta 2 🙂
