Xiaomeng Huang recently wrote a blog on OS Training, a website which provides training services on various open source platforms including WordPress. She explores conditional logic for creating forms provided by Caldera Forms and provides examples on how to use conditional logic in a step-by-step guide. To summarize her blog post into three parts:

  1. A background on conditional logic as a concept and its importance when creating forms suited to the needs of the user when filling out a form. Caldera Forms’ conditional logic is a powerful, free option for users of WordPress.
  2. Xiaomeng provides a step-by-step guide on creating two popular forms, including registration forms and form processors to email a user after they have completed a form. The registration form will demonstrate the effect of hiding and showing fields determined by the conditions met by the user. She also goes into great depth on the use of form processors and a guide to using the Autoresponder processor to send emails to users meeting the form conditions. Caldera Forms also provides set form templates for quicker implementation from the tutorials.
  3. Caldera Forms provides many more options to create forms using conditional logic, such as contact, payment, and booking forms.
