Cat excited by shiny things. Meme read - Shiny Things Baaa Shinty ThingsIt’s almost time for WordCamp US Taco Club, also WordCamp US. I’m about to start packing now. But first I wanted to show off to exciting shiny new things. The first is this shiny new website. Pretty shiny right?

Notice that it’s now CalderaForms.com not CalderaWP.com. I honestly thought, at the beginning of the Caldera journey, that Caldera Forms would be a minor part of what we did. I was wrong. The old site was built around that assumption. The new site was built for Caldera Forms. We hope you like it and find the new layout and navigation easier to work with.

One big change is that the old documentation search is gone. I had fun building it, but it just wasn’t good. You can now browse documentation by category or do a search. We heard your very reasonable complaints about it. I fixed it by simplifying the interface, and added more content.

Also, we are super excited to announce that Caldera Forms has surpassed 40K active installs and 200k downloads!

Caldera Forms 1.4.5

The most interesting cat in the world!Speaking of shiny new things Caldera Forms 1.4.5 has been released. This is a minor bug fix with a few new filters. The two biggest changes are that you can now change the order of the fields shown by the summary magic tag and change the format used to display it.

Also, you there is now an additional way to change the location of the files uploaded to the media library by Caldera Forms file fields.

Possibly shiniest of all is that we now have context-based helpful links right in our main admin page. Now that we have filled out our docs, we aim to bring them into the admin of the plugin more. Look for more new exciting UI improvements coming soon in version 1.5, which also has new field types and a REST API and so many other cool new things. It’s exciting, trust me.

WordCamp US!!!!

OK, I’m off to WordCamp US. We have 3 variety of stickers to give out.  The taco stickers are super limited edition! If you’re coming to WordCamp US, make sure to find us and get your sticker.
