Number fields only accept numbers. They have special options that regular text fields do not.
Number fields were added in Caldera Forms 1.5. In older versions, text fields can be set to number type, but they don’t have these special options.
Special Options:
- Minimum – The minimum number allowed. This sets the HTML5 “min” attribute.
- Maximum – The maximum number allowed. This sets the HTML5 “max” attribute.
- Step – The number to incriment by when the arrows in are used to increase or decrease the number. This sets the HTML5 “step” attribute.
